UN Open Day, Geneva, 7 October 2017

On 7 October, the Palais des Nations has opened its doors to the world for the UN Geneva Office's 2017 Open Day. The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Office and other International Organizations at Geneva attended the “Open Day” held in the UN Office at Geneva – Palais des Nations. 

The exhibition attended up to fourteen thousand people, and the stand exhibition containing materials and data on national culture, art and cousine of Azerbaijan was organized, and books and magazines, as well as other materials on tourism potential, culture and art of our country were demonstrated and distributed among the guests. The stand of Azerbaijan was along with the GUAM member-countries: Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.

“Open Day” in the UN Office at Geneva is organized once every two years. The first such event was held in 2010.
